- Studying timing of sale and purchase of securities to achieve organization goals.
- Cash management and determine amount of surplus to investment it, or deficit to secure it.
- Inventory management:
- Identify inventory investment costs.
- Identify costs of out of stock and carrying cost.
- Identify minimum of inventory and point of demand.
- Identify ceiling of inventory.
- Identify quantity economic inventory to obtain in every order.
