Web developer creates websites to help firms have a public face. Computer network architects create the internal networks within organizations.There are many types of web developers, such as:
- Web architect or programmer is responsible for the overall technical construction of the website. He/she creates the basic framework of the site and ensures that it works as expected. Web architect also creates procedures for allowing others to add new pages to the website and meets with management to discuss major changes to the site.

- Webmaster maintains websites and keeps them updated. He/she ensures that websites operate correctly and test for errors such as broken links. Many webmasters respond to user comments as well.
Environment of work
Working hours are typically from 8.30am to 4pm. Additional hours are commonly needed to complete assignments to schedule, depending on the place of work. Usually work is carried out in teams in an open-plan area. Individuals may be members of several teams and there may be a need to share desks or cubicles with others. Getting the job
Educational requirements for web developer vary with the setting he/she works in and the type of work he/she does. Requirements range from a high school diploma to a bachelor’s degree. An associate’s degree may be sufficient for webmasters who do not do a lot of programming. However, some employers prefer workers who have at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, programming, or a related field. Many employers also want developers to understand other languages, such as JavaScript or SQL, have some knowledge of multimedia publishing tools, such as Flash.
